The Vita Nova Vision
VITA NOVA FOUNDERS ARE COMMITTED TO CREATING A SOLUTION THAT FILLS THE GAP IN CURRENT RESOURCES IN THE JOPLIN COMMUNITY.
VITA NOVA VILLAGE WILL BE A COMMUNITY THAT PROMOTES PERSONAL GROWTH THROUGH RELATIONSHIPS AND EDUCATION. OUR RESIDENTS WILL ACQUIRE THE HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS AND TOOLS (EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND VOCATIONAL) TO SUCCEED WITH EMPLOYMENT AND HOUSING PERMANENCE WHEN THEY LEAVE OUR COMMUNITY.

There are an estimated 106 Shelter Beds available in Joplin. Leaving an average of 131 people sleeping outside nightly.

There is an estimated average of 237 homeless people in Joplin daily.

Vita Nova Village provides healthy relations and targeted education for a path to employment security and housing permanence.
